Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
my guy and i go through the same stuff, he's always going out and playing pick-up hockey games with his friends... then the weekend comes and he's all of a sudden really really really tired and in a bummed-out mood and doesn't want to have anything to do with anybody. i ended up going to HIS friend's bonfire just to have someone to hang out with!
as for june cleaver.... ugh, i wish i had the ability to take care of stuff. can't even scrape up the energy to take care of myself.
He said "I thought I was talking care of you." not when you sit on your ass downloading movies and tell me "we" should wash clothes cause you're out of work shirts. You mean I should wash them for you!
So he agreed to help more.
Then, not 10 min later, the dryers buzzer goes off. I got up to switch the clothes out. Guess what he's doing? Yep nothing!
I guess help more actually means - I'm just placating you so you'll stop crying, I have no intention of doing anything.
Thanks for the advice.
I may try the codependent group, as for a vacation, I wish. These days I can barely pay my rent. Good idea though.
