Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I think my friends think I'm weird. We have a group chat, and most of the time when I say something, they ignore it. They don't always ignore it, but to me it feels like I don't belong. I make corny, innocent jokes from time to time and I get ignored. Someone posts something negative in the group, then they respond..I just don't get it anymore. I'm sad because I have always felt like an oddball so I think I should just exclude myself. They are also very judgemental.

I got an email from Kohl's that I had a 40% off coupon for today and tomorrow only. It took me about an hour but I placed an order and got some great deals. I have been wanting a new dress. Keep sharing, we are here for you. You will get responses here and I hope you will find comfort from this group.
Praying that all will be well for you. God bless.
I completely understand how you feel. I often feel the same with all my friends and it has only increased since graduating high school. Honestly it sounds like you’re trying to be positive in a negative environment which is hardly ever positive. I was taught by my mentor to find other positive people to be around and chat with, this gives you more positivity and people who will listen. Don’t give up on your friends if you really are friends with them, and of course you can do as you wish. I can only speak from my own experiences. You are a wonderful person worth listening to, you are worthy of love and attention.
I empathize with what you are saying, however, and can't count the times I have felt similar anguish.
I try to hold onto the philosophy that not everyone works on the same wavelength and you should not necessarily adjust who you are just to "blend in".
As my mother always told me: "Let your freak flag fly"!
