Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
When I first started driving I was terrified because every time I drove over a bridge I thought about driving over it. I still do sometimes.
Do you have a therapist or anyone you can talk to? Whether you do or not please message me if you ever want to talk about anything at all!
Think of a reason to keep living, it can be as simple as a new episode of your favorite TV show is coming out next week, and when you get there think of a new one. Find the reasons why living is worth it.
What else can be smiled upon? Do something you can enjoy, like make a card for a friend or even for a random person at work. (Giving others a reason to smile makes me feel good too). Or try this - tape a compliment to yourself on your bathroom mirror, whether you feel deserving of it or not, and change it or add to it every couple of days.
You are a warrior, fighting depression, but not giving in.
Hugs!
