Ok im already taking celexa for long time, dr tried to add abilify and i hated how it made me feel so got off it. That was bout 6months ago. Ive had crazy bad luck w mmy lovelife lately and then my son got put in behavioral hospital from schoolstuff. Long story but just wanna stay in bed. Not sure celexa works for me anymore. Thinking of switching to welbutrin. Any pros, cons or comments. Btw im a teacher and im also in grad school.

Never tried Celexa but I take Wellbutrin and Abilify together. They work very well for me. I started out with just Wellbutrin and it really wakes me up in the morning. I know every drug effects different people differently so I can't say it would be good for you. Abilify works well for me and not for you so who knows? I hope you find what works well for you - Best wishes

I take both Celexa and Wellbutrin and there's no reason you shouldn't as well. Celexa increases the amount of Serotonin and Wellbutrin primarily affects Dopamine. Talk to your doctor about it.

I am off of all meds now, except heart meds, but when I was on Celexa, and it quit, I was changed to Wellbutrin and Effexor time release. They worked like champs, and did not depress my libido.

This site has shown me that meds work differently for all of us. This is my experience with going off of Celexa and onto Wellbutrin and Effexor. I wish for you the very best.
