Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Sorry if that wasn't helpful. Just know you're not alone.
As you can see, you aren't alone in those feelings. Many people struggle silently with feelings just like what you are sharing. People of all ages, sexes, races, etc. and so forth.
I don't know how much activity has been on this site recently. I come and go based on my personal coping. I am back on so what this tells you is that I am right there with you.
I am currently working as a long term fill in at my old job, for a maternity leave. I left to try something else but I am finding that the physical demands of that job maybe more than my aging body can handle. I am 45 and not getting younger. So I am hoping that if I get the opportunity to return to this old job that I will be able to appreciate just having a job that I can physically due the next 20 years or so until I can retire.
I don't know how much advice you welcome. But have you considered what is causing that feelings that you are just trying to survive. Determine what it is you feel you may be missing? This is what I have been working through. Trying to find meaning to my life in all areas. Boundaries in unhealthy relationships is important, but trying to find things in life that bring joy whether it is simple, or just occasional distractions. I find that some things are more beneficial to me than others.
Best wishes for you!
