Isnt that an old saying about heroin? Anyways....... Saturday, Our horse Rusty that is over 30 years old went down to the ground and couldnt get back up.. He has lost a tremendous amount of weight the last few months and he just couldnt get back up.. I went out and fed him a pail of oats and Al called his friend to come and help.
They loaded Rusty up in the trailer to take and put him out of his misery.. He gave Al one last kick in his knee before they slid him into the trailer..
He died before they got him to where they were taking him..
It is very sad to lose our beloved pets.. I cried all day even though I knew he wouldnt make it through a rough winter.. Just sharing.. Ya all have a wonderful and thankful week and wonderful Thanks Giving..

My youngest son has a dog named Rusty.. I think he is about 14 years old.. My boy will be broken when he is gone.. I dread the day.
