Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I have been feeling the worst I have in a long time. I am tired all the time and I am having heart palpatations and they are usually at night. I am going to make an appointment with an endocronologist because I also am having increasing problems with my short term memory. It is known that the thyroid problems can affect memory so Im hoping to find a solution to both this depression and memory issue in one visit. I am very over emotional at this time but this usually happens around this time so it is pretty normal but I am so tired of having noone to really relate to that its really affecting me.

Sorry you're feeling so bad, but it's a very positive thing that you're taking steps forward to get some answers. I also have trouble with my memory. I've never had a great memory and of course I'm getting older (groan), but I do feel it's worse than it's ever been. I think it's some of the medication I take. To add insult to injury, I think I'm going through menopause. Good luck with your doctor's appointment - keep us posted.

I'm glad you are going to see a doctor that will hopefully find the answers for you and get you feeling better. I get overly emotional as well but I know I have DS to turn to and what I call, my family. It sounds like you may be having anxiety attacks at night but I'm not a doctor so make sure to bring that up to your doc. Lots of support here. You will be surprised at the amount of people who you will be able to relate to here. Hang in there and let us support you and help the best that we can. Hugs GB

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
