this what my nuero psychologist had to say :There continues to be significant uncertainty regarding a diagnosis behind the patient's complaints of repetitive music. I have ordered functional imaging to understand his condition better as well. I have recommended that the patient try Vraylar 1.5 mg. AIMS score was zero he did a reasesment of my ipod head and definatly not scizophranic he reasured me that he said i dont think you have a mental illness something is going on in your brain something iis misfiring he orderd a pet scan but i have too wait 2 weeks for that man i wonder do they have that in the emergency room NOW these brain zaps is unbearable so i asked him was this because of benzo withdrawl he claims 100% no he state my dose is so low it wouldnt cause that please chime in because im going too the er im not popping not 1 pill if i dont have too

Don't go completely off your pills until it is time, dear. Also, the ER will not do anything but assess your vitals at this point and tell you to follow up with your physician. I know it is hard, I am waiting for my own treatment too, but you can make it. This doctor sounds like a good one, trust in him. In the meantime, message me. I'm here. You can tell me about any song in your "IPod head" ha ha...that's what friends are for. Hugs.

ok i popped the pill omg 2 hrs no music i cant believe i dont know if this a placebo effect but i got my fingers crossed

You are on a path to getting to the bottom of all this. Inform this doctor, and follow his advice. What you have posted is a lot of good news. This is a process .. do as he says ... and keep him informed.

How often can you take the Vraylor?? Can you take it as needed??

Perhaps keep a log of when you do and do not hear the music. Also log what else is going on. Perhaps there is a pattern you can see and use it to your advantage.

yeahi have a log sheet basicly music voices sometimes like from people i know its weird he explained too me hallucination is a symptom once you find out the cause it goes away so they ruled out schizofrania and bi polor thats why he running all them other test not sure you can take it as needed all i know he told me too take it at nigght and last night the music stopped but came back this morning tim thinking im starting too loose it

well the good news is your getting some answers, even if its just ruling out what its NOT. Ok well the pill worked for 2hrs, so thats 2hrs music free- its an improvement, however small, maybe over time the length will increase- give it a chance...2 weeks feels like forever, but u gotta suck it up- you've been to the er already, whatever they did they did, that's probably all they can do- now its your turn- u gotta soldier on- remove all triggers of music, no tv, no ringtone on phone, consider it a music free diet like a diabetic with sugar (until these symptoms subside, its not permanent) focused activities/ distract and rewire- don't panic when u hear the music shift focus, u can redirect your thoughts- u have the power to control your brain, but like any muscle it takes time to build up, u can do it.
