Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Personally, I wish it would go away. It could be very distressing to new members setting up their accounts/profiles to see right away that they can be ignored w/o knowing exactly how it works.
We are here looking for support or to provide support and "ignore" has a negative connation.
Thank you.
I have noticed the existance of what I call "toxic pairs" here. They are people, each with friends of their own, who just can't get along. In many cases each has a strong opinion that the other seriously disagrees with, and they think their opinions are justified and acceptable whereas the other's are unjustified and unacceptable.
In real life people like this learn to ignore each other. Unfortunately, on virtual sites people like this end up crossing paths often.
This is the perfect case for the ignore feature. Both people should be happier for it! (Same for the rest of us too!)
Just my 2 cents!
