My freakin Velcro cat brought me yet another wonderful gift... I went into the spare bedroom early before work to get a hat to wear and I heard a weird nose coming from the carpet... My Velcro was staring down at at a bat with a half eaten wing... I didnt know what to do as I was kinda scared to help him.. He was making a sort of chattering noise.. Luckily for me, not the bat, Velcro took off with him out the dog/cat door... Poor thing... the bat I mean...

Are they bringing us gifts? Or do they feel sorry for us because they know we can't hunt like they can, and so they feel obligated to bring us food? Cats is weird.

Perennial.. you could be right... they are hunting for us... The bat worried me though... how the hell did he catch a bat?
The rabbit was definitely the worst "present" ever. I lost it, I cried. Can't be mad at the cat, but damn...poor bunny :(
Went on vacation as a kid...probably only 6, really little. When we get back, the cats (2) literally STOCKPILE the back porch with "presents." There were at least 20, mostly mice, a few moles.
So was it a "welcome home" present?????

The snake he brought in was still alive but pretended to be dead.. Velcro dropped him in the kitchen while I was doing dishes.. Water snake...
