Does anyone have a tattoo that they regret? I have a butterfly that I got tattooed on my side, under my arm. I liked it for the first couple of months, but now, most of the time, i'm filled with regret when I see it. I try to tell myself its just a tattoo, its not that bad, ect, ect... but it stills drives me crazy. I don't know a lot of ppl who have tattoos and I find it difficult to talk about it. Does anyone have some advice on coping with this problem?

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmonĀ

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

and love the new ones - ask me in 40 years! I'll say the same!
I agree with others here, who have said if it becomes a problem, have it removed.
Dream937 - I liked what you said about the longer I have it, the more I might like it.. it seems ironic that it would happen that way, but I hope you're right! I also enjoyed your comment about how it reminded you of how far you've come... it reminded me of why I got the tattoo in the first place - to represent how I was feeling. It's a butterfly to symbolize my metamorphisis from being a teenager to a young women. A lot of changes has happened in me and my life in the last 2 years. At this point, i feel very confused about who I am and where I'm going... perhaps this is affecting my feelings about my tattoo.
I know that my ex-husband has one he regrets-he had my name tattooed on his upper arm. We had been going out just over a month (yeah!) and I tried to talk him OUT of it, but he would not relent. Afterwards I felt so trapped! Luckily it was in a banner so it could be filled in...unless he meets someone with the same name.
