Anyone else depressed about taking Christmas down? We just did it last weekend. Yes I know I'm behind the eigt ball, but we've had some other things going on lately that were more pressing matters. It's especially hard for me because I live in Alaska where the winters are especially harsh and last about 7 months and we have very very few hours of daylight. I also suffer from SAD and putting up xmas, especially the lights are like a little glimmer of hope in a very dim time. Now that they're down i cant help but think of how much LONGER it is until we get the slightest glimmer of spring, and i no longer have the pretty decorations to boost my spirits

That's OK I still have lights in the house. and just took the tree down last week. So your not alone. It seemed like we put it up and had to take it down right away so I didn't rush. Yeah not much sun or fun snow here in MN to play in either. Very saddening and yes spring will be nice too!!! Well happy days to you and leave the lights on in the house to brighten up.

ok,ok,you might think I'm crazy,well I know I'm,plus a procrastinator :),but every year I buy a fresh xmas tree,I love,love the smell,it gives me something good I don't know how to describe,but I just love the way my place smell, like a happy smell...so even thou my tree is so dead I still have it,everything else is put away,I only have the tree,no decoration on it,just the smell,now you can call me crazy..lol

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
