Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
If the thoughts are pervasive and you can't get them out of your head, and if you have a plan, you need to get yourself into a hospital asap.
Sometimes depression becomes so profound that it creates psychotic conditions, when suicide becomes the most logical way to deal with the pain in your mind, you need immediate help!

Just please keep reaching out.I know it's hard, but it's essential--and you're worth it.Big hugs to you, and best wishes.

The silence of your despair may feel may feel deafening at times, but it is temporary.
i KNOW. I too, once stood at the door of suicide, and Iwas poised to to open the door. My key was an insulin syringe, but I chose life instead. Weeks following seemed hard, like trudging through molasses, but if you listen gradually the fog lifts, the cotton gets removed from your ears and you hear life again. Like someone else said don;t take a permanent solution to a temporary problem, choose life because you can still at least choose!
