I will be coming out of the depression closet with my primary care doctor.
I am going to insist politely that I want to see a lung specialist before any more procedures and tests. Some of my doctors have not been thinking.
I have an abnormal CT SCAN of the lungs. It could be at least 5 different things and they are not stopping to think and I have not been questioning them. I have wanted to be the good guy at all costs. But now I see that it might hurt me. I don't want to hurt me.

I have been suffering in silence over a situation that happened 28 years ago. It finally surfaced. And you know what, I wonder why I held it in so long. Lots of people upset but like you say, "the hell with them".

I agree with you gooch, you should ask to see a specialist instead of them trying to put you through tests and more tests. If they don't know what's going on then they should send you to somebody who does. Then at least the specialist will know which tests are really necessary. Trying to hide a persons depression, anxiety or whatever the issue can get exhausting. Sometimes you just want to say, listen this is me, this is what I'm going through, if you don't want to be around me than fine, walk away. The people that care will stick around and support you and that's all that matters.
