Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
So today I went to my psyciatrist and she yelled at me. I left feeling more depressed than when I went in. The whole story is in my journal if anyone cares....but I doubt you do.

I read your journal about this psych and I am appalled at her behaviour. Psychs are meant to provide a safe environment for their patients not an abusive one. If you feel unsafe, uncomfortable with this psych then you should seek another one. Possibly also report this event with the mental health institute. I'd hate to think she was treating other patients that way. Lucky she didn't have me, I would have ripped her head off (no joke I tend to attack back when attacked myself) but that's probably due to my BPD tendencies lol

I do care, I know how hard it can be sometimes to talk. And honestly she should be reported for what she did to you. She is not in her right mind to treat someone that comes to her for help. And I agree with Melasande I would have kicked her butt and told her what I thought of her. But keep up the good work on yourself, don't give up you are on the right track. Take care of yourself. :-)

I also forgot to mention that she told me that websites such as these are not helpful. Ha. yeah right. This website and another I use have saved me from cutting/suicide many times.

she is too "book smart" and doesn't know and care enough about the insides of people, whenever my life gets going to well, life reminds me that it has quite a twisted sense of humor....

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...
