Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

But, my point is, it truly helps with the memory. Yes, there are times when the memory is bad. But, the overall memory is good....because I did what I could.
Keep going. Don't let others decide that for you. Do it for yourself...and her.
Thanks again for all the support, it really does mean so much to have someone listen.
Your brother is likely having trouble dealing with the situation hence his lack of visiting. I get that you are concerned about your own emotional well-being (as you should be) but you are doing the right thing by visiting. Unfortunately, you can't make your brother do the same no matter how hard you try. Try and seek out a support group for yourself for family member's of Alzheimer sufferers. I think it would really help you to talk to others that are going through the same thing.
