Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I'm starting to learn that some things just aren't worth it, especially when it comes to customer service and it's bad. I can get very upset over negative treatment, and quite enraged. I think I feel like somehow others' negligence is damaging or hurting me, and maybe it is. And I suppose that it's a type-A thing, too, as I value efficiency and competency. Somehow I feel really let down when a service provider does not follow through or is not competent, and I don't feel heard and like I'm banging my head against the wall. In the past week, my dr. lost my paperwork, and then after asking twice he never uploaded my test results to the portal, or emailed me my results. I've gone in circles with them. And the mechanic didn't have any records of the repair work that I've done. When I got upset he said "that I was difficult."
I think for me, it calls back up times of when I was being abused, and was laughed at and disregarded. I think the best thing to do in these situations is to simply just find a competent business that is good and organized. It's so much simpler. In times past, when people have botched jobs or refused to fix their work, I used to try to get them to see that they were wrong and that they should help me. This really gets nowherem unless they want to preserve the relationship. After this man said I was being difficult for asking them to find my records, I just thought, yeah, I think I will just go to a different mechanic. The whole process was much easier and cleaner, and I was so much happier-no big deal. They fixed it today, I hate to think I will have to find another family practice Dr. after 20 years, but I've had a lot of issues with them in the past and it's just not worth it. Some things really are not worth it.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
