Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
First, just breathe. It won't do you much good, worrying about so much and having so few options to handle everything.
Now, for the rent money, is there any way you can talk to your landlord? Maybe tell him you were short some money because of the wisdom tooth being pulled and you'll make up the money next payday or something.
And there's no problem with taking time off work due to mental illnesses (no real problem anyway). I think you did the right thing there, taking a step back to try and recuperate. We all need some time away every so often.
Just being depressed is stressful. I like the advice offered above.
Do you have any sick or leave time at work? I know when you're
down it's hard to see options, but is there anyone supporting you
(like family or friends)? I find that the more stress I feel that the
more down I feel.
Thinking of you and happy that you have come here. You're
not alone. Please check back in when you can.
