For some reason I just dont want to be bothered with calling anyone or doing anything that I should be doing such as dishes. I ask myself why is it so hard to complete on task? What helps u get through? What helps u fake a smile to call family?

I have tried expressing to my aunt and grandparents my feelings of depression but they dont understand so sometimes when they ask well why havent u done this or this or dont u want a better life?? It makes calling them so hard, but I know somehow I got to find it in me to call. It will make it worse if i dont. I shouldnt get anxious around my family but i do...

I hid it for years but my family did care when I said I was unwell. They still don't bother with me but the suicide attempt was an icebreaker lol(please don't do that, they don't pump your stomach you know) I do know that if I feel that low again they'll be there. They love you so tell them how you feel. If they still go on show them your mental, crying and trying to pull yourself round the kitchen by your hair got my point across. This was ages ago and they do get tired of it so then you go see professionals as it's cruel to put people who are helpless through it

There are things I enjoy and want to do but I just can't bring myself to do them. I know it will help, but I'm trying to not beat myself up over it. I use paper plates and plastic silverware lol. Some things you just have to force yourself to do. Can only call in sick from work so often. I see a therapist. I do not want to talk about the depression with my family even though I know they will care. I feel ashamed talking about it with them.
