Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Michigan played in the national championship semifinal just losing a tough game. The coach complimented his players on their work and effort. It's important to realize that success is not always the best criterion to judge yourself. You can work hard and fall short or get some luck and succeed. Bill Walsh was one of the most successful coach with I think 4 Super Bowl wins but his book is called, Winning Takes Care of Itself.
That means if you work hard you will probably succeed. It may take time, but working on details, planning, particular tasks is the way to success not looking each day at your results. John Wooden who won an astounding 10 championship had a diagram focusing on the ingredients of success. He said he rarely talked about winning but just execution. First day of practice, he didn't say we are going to win, he took some of the top basketball players in the country and worked on properly tying your sneakers. He believed that effort and accumulation of good work on details in varying areas would lead to success.
