I would just like to thank my worthless manager for not informing anyone of the insurance policy change which starts Aug 1st AND for visiting family on the west coast while the policy changes over. I was the only one who found out the hard way as I use my insurance a lot and went on the website just to find that my policy was mysteriously cancelled as another was to go into effect on the 1st. I figured the asshole would at least have us sign paperwork for the new policy and even bother to ask us if we wanted to stay with this abysmal insurance plan, but no. He did what he always does and goes visit family. Well Jackass, I did the liberty of informing everyone about the new policy switchover since you didn't have the balls to and people are PISSED! Can't wait to look at my paycheck in two weeks and see if my rates went up to along with the double deductable! I hope you crash your BMW or Jaguar (whichever one you drove to Frisco in) and burn in hell you worthless motherfucker.

Anyway, hubby says I can quit 'shortly' but that I currently have to hang in there a little longer before I quit. I plan on making it very clear to him that I plan on quitting mid August and that I am truly sick of this dump.

Know what the funny thing is though? EVERYONE is looking for a new job. I really don't think the jerk is going to have a deli much longer. MUAHAHAHAH!

Our deli manager, who has been with the company for around 25 years, just informed me of the great new night job she got where she makes $12 an hour without taxes. Can someone please tell me what is wrong with that equasion? Not only does that sound like a horrible paying job, but you mean to tell me that Jerry pays her less that THAT? AFTER 25 YEARS?! Wow.

That really stinks....aren't they supposed to give choices when switching to a different insurance? I know where I worked anytime they switched or had changes we got paperwork for it.

Being that it is a different policy with the same agency, they are trying to take the chickenshit route by not informing anyone of anything. According to a coworker, she received a new insurance card in the mail, and when she asked a manager about it he claimed that it's a new card but still the same plan, which is complete bullshit as I spoke to Aetna myself. The deductable is being doubled and copays are changing. I have received no paperwork or information about the policy through my employer although I made it very clear to Jerry that I want a pamphlet with info about this new policy. One would think that one would fill out new paperwork and be asked if they wanted to continue with a different policy while being told of said change, but being that people are just getting cards in the mail with no notification whatsoever, this is apparently not the case. All I know is that I am going to watch my paycheck for any change in price and I REALLLLY hope I can get out of here ASAP and get my own damned insurance policy.

Having your health insurance changed for the worse without your knowledge is just plain wrong. Can you go on Aetna's website to get the information you need about your new policy benefits?

With all due respect, I think that part of your anger is misdirected. Healthcare costs to employers have gone through the ceiling. Much of this is due to the socialized medicine system we are establishing known as Obamacare. I have friends in both corporate America, and small businesses of their own that are considering dropping healthcare as a benefit to their employees altogether. They just can't afford to offer it to their employees anymore.
