eh, snow boarding isnt my thing.
i dont really want to do anything.
i want to do the whole, be honest, go to work, complain about stuff, lose your hair, get fat, argue with your wife, have kids, have work problems, be tempted to cheat, fix work problems, fix marriage problems, complain about stuff, work two jobs, pay house off, raise kids, get old, something, something, something.
thats more of my thing.
and crude behavior.
:D
;P
yes, in the business of life, it's easy to forget to have fun, do something one likes. i'm guilty of it too.
Me, only thing i have found is off roading. Out in the middle of the forest, wild animals, load music, a bowl, a couple wine coolers & a lil lunch. I can go out for hrs. Cant do it in the snow tho, dont have a good enough vehicle for that so i miss it now.
I love to snowboard too. Started about 6 years ago. I would love to get back into it. Anything with a thril.
Needless to say I have put on so much weight everything is hard to do. Like the kid with all the winter closes on. LOL
I just might have to do it for kicks. Cool thanks
something that gets the heart or the mind going is always good, it's been quite a while since I felt exhilarated....I shall endeavor to try to make that happen soon....somehow..... I gotta think......
I have kept it as one of my big goals, to get back to my artwork. The desire still eludes me, so often. I've made strides towards it---that's alot.
Not being negative, just speaking realistically.
I love to go on paranormal investigations ....but that's at a standstill because there are no groups in my area and I don't have a car to get me to where I would have to go to join a group.
I also love collecting sportscards....but lack of funds and again, no reliable transportation to get me to any type of sportscard show.
One day though I will be back into both of these things! :)
Kaino - I totally understand your frustrations when it comes to money and transportation being major barriers to getting to do the things you love. The only reason I can afford to get out and snowboard so much this winter is because I bought my seasons pass on sale and with my mom and brother both pitching in a hundred bucks so it only ended up costing me $300 out of my own pocket.. and I bought all my gear at a giant warehouse sale in the summer, with my board, boots and bindings coming to just over $400 altogether. It's still a lot of money.. but I made the decision to go ahead and spend it without dwelling on it.. knowing that if I didn't, I would not end up going out to the mountains at all this winter because I never have the money. This way I have to now make as much use of the pass and equipment in order to justify having already spent all that money.. and transportation is thankfully not an issue because 2 of my friends that also bought passes drive big trucks and go every weekend too..
I really really hope that you are able to find something affordable and easy to access that you love. You deserve to enjoy your life! You are such a nice person.
