Helplessness? Hopelessness?
I don't know.

Where to begin..
I feel like a failure..
I feel like a jerk.
I feel like I quit everything I do.
I feel like I won't have a successful life.
I feel like there is no reason I am here.
I feel like I have no purpose in life.
But I don't want to die...
In no way shape or form am I suicidal.
I'm depressed, extremely.
But not suicidal.
What exactly is wrong with me?
I also feel ashamed.
Ashamed because I love my parents..and if they EVER knew i felt like this, I feel like they'd blame themselves. And It's not their fault. I don't want them to think or feel like their daughter is crazy. I don't want my friends to think I'm crazy. Or my family...I'm scared..And so I hold it all in and keep myself feeling hopeless, worthless, and without light at the end of the tunnel.

And I meant disapointment in me because I didn't tell them and even because of my self-mutilation..I don't want the disapointment.

Well kiddo..if I was your parent...and you were hurting so much inside that you were self mutilating..I would want to know so that I could get you the best possible help there is....that way you will be better equiped to handle thaings that life throws at you. It seems like you have been through alot...and its still eatting at you...but they are people and medication or holistic ways that could help you learn to live with it....but if I were you I would probally bring them in..and talk to them about this. There is another option...but would be better to pm you..would that be ok?

It would be better to talk to your parents, one less negative though hanging over your head can only be a good thing.
If my son was suffering depression and I didnt know I would be dissapointed in myself for not being observant enough to help.
Tell them and things may pick up for you.

Sometimes we cannot help how we feel, please talk to your mum and dad, someone, anyone you trust and try to find a way forwards, I kinda understand how you feel right now and hope you share these feelings with someone so you can start to move forwards. huggles***
