Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Regarding the anger. I am glad you are calming down a bit. But you should try not to beat yourself up because you have a long term condition. You have a hard job keeping things together and your son's addiction to video games is also his responsibility as much as yours as he is now an adult.
Work with the family and your son to find a good solution that suit all.
Do you mean "addict" like, it interferes with his school/work? or addict like that is his only interest? If it's the second one, I wouldn't worry about it so much. At 18, he's hopefully getting ready for all sorts of new experiences. College, a new job, or a new love interest could be enough to break the habit.
And (I don't mean this harshly) speaking as a daughter, please don't try to parent over facebook. My mother routinely sends me angry texts messages and I'm tellin' ya, it doesn't work. Sit face to face, or talk on the phone, or, if it's really difficult, hand write a letter. Stay calm, open, and be consistent. That's what works.
I don't mean to downplay your anger because it's completely valid. But expressing it like that to your son is probably not going to fix the situation.
Good luck and blessings.
Things in life change and so could the rules in your home. It might not be possible to control what happens outside of that but you have a right to change the expectations where you are.

If you decide to make the changes it would be a good time to introduce him to new things in replace of the games.
