Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I have to share with you one thing that I tried that did help. I was reluctant for years to try this but I shouldn't have waited and it's inexpensive. St. John's wort. I know it might sound like foo foo to some people but this stuff is proven across the globe and this is the first herbal supplement that I ever noticed made any kind of difference to me.
I took one pill a day for a couple weeks (300mg) and I didn't feel much so I started taking 2 pills a day and I noticed right away that I could stay up later at night but then the drawback was that I couldn't fall asleep all night. I would lay there in bed shocked that all my life I have slept so easily and then I was awake in bed for hours.
I would recommend you try this and see if you can find a dose that helps you because it really does make you feel more awake.
Sleeping takes away the misery for a little while, until you're back into reality.
Good luck to both of us.
