You have a job ahead of you my friend! you could catch him and take him to the vet or the groomers to get "de-skunked"?

I know, I know.. he stinks like mad. Last year my poodle got sprayed and she was easy enough to get into a bath, but Velcro is not going to be that easy. I may need to take him to the groomer. I have a dog door I could block off but then the other pets would have to suffer. I have quite the predictement.. damn it.

you will need to put him in a cat carrier and take him to the vet... they will most likely shave the poor lad... then bathe him in some special deskunking CRAP...

Plan #2 .... if that does not work...you can ship him over to WINNYs house...she could use some freshening scent of her livingroom....

I can help you with this, Me, we just went through this in November. Here is the recipe, and it did work on the dog. Watch around the eyes and mouth. Don't get it in them, because it can be painful. The cat will probably hate it, but it truly works to remove the odor. You may have to rewash the cat in a day or two. This batch will wash the cat once. Don't save it in a closed container as it is explosive.

Skunk Smell Remover
1 quart 3% Hydrogen Peroxide
1/4 cup Baking Soda
2 tbsp Dish Detergent. The stuff for washing dishes in the sink, not something for dishwashers.

I forgot to add that the hydrogen peroxide needs to be a new bottle, and you have to let it sit on your cat for about 10 minutes. Good luck!

Try filling a spray bottle with vinegar and tomato juice mixture. Whenever you can get close enough spray the cat as much as you can with it. He'll probably end up bathing himself of the tomato mixture but at least that way it won't be harmful to him if he does ingest it.

easiest option is to bin ur cat and get one that doesnt smell. or get a furby instead
