I was diagnonced as I called it at an early age. I am the child of a recovering alcholic. He turned his addiction from drink to rage. I coudln't wait to get out on my own. Instead as a result of growing in a disfunctional family, I got sent away. I was young, scared, and beaten to a pulp almost everday left up north to be treated like that by GIRLS? Yes girls can rape and batter other girls, they put me in a coma. I cannot change the past. I simply learn from it. Sop I was diagnosed with Major depression since I was 10 yrs old at my first suicide attempt, because a teacher flipped over my school desk to have everyone point and laugh at what a messy person I was. I got sent to the nurse, and then ran away from school. The teacher was fired, I could never live it down. Now I am pretty much over it, just by facing it the fear. ANd that the knowledge I learned was taught at such a young age, so I can be as self sufficent as possible, without a care in the world. I think the worst fears of an agoraphob is being embarassed or pointed out in public. Not careing what everyone else is doing is your first step to recover. Recovery is possible. I did it for a decade, until I overdoesed, because my birth mom told me to. So From now on, I will be a more positive person, by helping others learn the same things I did. I'm writing a book.
