Sitting here at work is hard. Nobody seems to understand my struggle. I struggle just to make it thru the day. I cry all the time. Yes, I'm on meds....they can only help but so much. I come to work because, I'm afraid of being alone with my thoughts.....and I feel it's good to be around people. I've been struggling with this episode for almost 2 months and it feels like a lifetime.
My husband says, I'm doing better than I have been, however, it's hard for me to see it.
Question, has anyone on meds still have crying spells and nervousness? How do you cope with them? I find it hard to sit and concentrate on one thing too long.

Woke up feeling very emotional and about to clock in at my place of employment. And can't place it all in writing but not been a good experience with my store manager or his boss. Defamation of my character is a concern. I've been losing appetite and weight. Trying to perform at work to keep myself from hospitalization as a result of toxic masculinity.

I'm feeling down,, and got alot on my mind right now. I got grief going on, on top my depression and anxiety and now I got to worry about somewhere to live since I can't afford living here since my mom passed. So many bad things have happened since my mom passed. One thing after another it seems. Yesterday our fence fell from a storm that hit, had to call someone to prop it up. Thank...

Only pple who have had depression, will understand how you feel, so if no one at work has suffered it or been through it, they wont get it.
Its good your able to go to work, but its also good to realise that your not coping.
Maybe go back to doctors and review your medication.
Some medications have a side effect of anxiousness, restlessness, etc.
I agree, no matter what, it is very positive that you are around people, and not isolating. Isolation is a horrible side effect of depression, so it's HUGE that you are at work, and not giving in to your symptoms.
Keep fighting. I have been where you are, and it WILL get better.
