Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I love your display picture by the way, my one year old loves mickey mouse. :)
When I was 14, my friends dad died of lung cancer. He was a lovely man and it was awful.
A few years later, another of my friends mother passed away who I was close to.
Me and some friends went to the funeral and walked 5 miles back along a motorway in the boiling summer heat so we could get home after the funeral. It was a brutal trip back but I would do it over and over again just to say goodbye.
I hope you can think of the good times soon.
Much love to you and her family at this horrible time xx
Her love will always be watching over her family and friends.
I will say prayers for all of you to heal and that peace will come to you all.
That's a beautiful baby on your avi. Looks like you are learning some things about life. Every day is a gift, Darlin.
You said you don't know what to say to your friend. You expressed yourself very well here. If you don't know what to say, but you are hurting for Holly and you will miss her mom, say that to her. Just be honest. She might need someone to cry with or on.
Don't be afraid to reach out. Friends need each other in times like this.
Read kriskris's post about Elizabeth Edwards. I don't know if you are familiar with her. Her husband ran for president twice. She stood by his side. She developed breast cancer, went into remission and it came back. The cancer had spread. She is also a mother who lost a child.
Very inspiring. You'll know what to say:
