Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I think it's very understandable to go into "shock" over this and need to check with others that it really did happen.
The fact you were writing in your journal is irrelevant. You found out and it certainly was not anything you ever expected you'd find happened to a family member.
You've been through so very much heartache in such a short time,
offing the perp won't help anyone, especially not the victim. You're going to prison would most likely throw a heep of guilt on her and right now, guilt is not something that would help her.
Maybe write a journal entry, keep it private if needed and just write out what you want to do to the perp. Just maybe that will release some of the pressure.
If you're leary of putting it on site, grab a notebook or use Microsoft word and just put it down that way. You can always destroy it later and not worry about someone, somehow, knowing what you want to do.
I think your anger is justified but keep in mind, if you act on your feelings, it'll just make things worse.
I'm not denying your feelings, but this is one time you have to NOT act on them the way you want to.
I know, easier said than done, but think about it, ok??
At least you're getting some of the pressure out by posting, I hope that will help you.
peace....
Kids of that age rarely get mail in their name, so it would be a good thing to get something with their name on it. Letting them know they are thought of in a good way.
"This person has already lied about me in the past. This person is a big reason of why I lost my son"
Petition for a new custody hearing to remove their input on the matter and re-evaluate your case.
