This is my last night at Gramys place...I've been here for almost 2 weeks and it feels like its been 2 days. I'm not looking forward to saying goodbye, I've never been good about saying goodbye to anyone. Our time together has been very special and even though the temperature was 105 or more every day we still managed to have an outing or 2. I got to spend some time with her neighbors and they made me feel welcome as well. GramyBear is one of the nicest kindest gentlest people I know. I enjoyed our heart to heart chats and I think she actually liked my cooking!!if
I know I'm going to feel sad and low for the next few days as I said I don't handle goodbyes very well.
Thank-you Gramy for opening you heart and your house to me!!! You are a dear friend, maybe next year you can come visit me!!!

I don't even know what to say to this as I don't know what has transpired...all I know was GB..was active...here...I miss her...and then I saw a post you 2 were together somewhere...now you are writing and she is not...

I don't know if this was an expected romantic thing...or a friend thing...I missed something...I just hope she didn't get hurt... because us woman are dainty ya know.

And I don't know if there were boundaries..none of my business either..but when I see a post like this..see you next year....after 2 weeks of what? We don't know...I'm like confused.

Please!!! Relax....Gramy invited me to come visit and after lots of planning it finally came to pass this past 2 weeks. She is a beautiful friend and I stress friend...there was no intention or expectation of intimacy just 2 friends getting together for a good time.
Tomorrow I head back to my life and I'm feeling down because I have to say goodbye. GramyBear is OK ...I just hate saying goodbye...she is so far away I can't just pop over for a coffee and a chat.

I'm glad you had a good time together. I've been thinking about Gramy's health...I think she posted she was having heart problems and had an upcoming dr. appointment. You said GramyBear is okay...so that is good to hear. I wish you a safe journey home. Glad you two were able to connect in person.

I am so glad you and gramybear got to visit in person and you had a good time. I am sure she did as well. Goodbyes can be hard but you will see her again. I am glad she is ok as she was having problems with her heart. Safe travels.

For a minute I had heart failure; GB can't be leaving us!

Then I read your post and understood your title. I am so happy that you and GB were able to spend some time together. She is such a wonderful lady!!!!!

Yes, I also was freaked out when I saw Saying Goodbye to Gramybear. I thought she was quitting DS! What a relief. I knew she was having company and I'm glad it was you. Sounds like you had a wonderful time. I, too, wish I could pop over to have a coffee and chat with GB and some of my other DS friends!

I know it's going to be sad to tell her goodbye but I'm so happy for both of you that you had this time to spend together . Yep, GB is one very special friend . I think you're pretty cool yourself. :))
