Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

I didn't push myself to go get my mom a Mother's Day card, but rather wrote Happy Mother's Day on the envelope of her gift certificate that I also didn't pick up myself...this time. I'm big on cards for loved ones because it's one of the rare times that I express my feelings towards them and they love them. However, I'm gonna try my best to not beat myself up about this. Things are gonna get better, anxiety wise. They have to.
Had an appt with a nurse today and it went well. She is going to
talk to the doctor about giving me Klonopin which would really help.
Great thread great minds....

I'm addressing people's posts, which may or may not be wrong, as everything with me must be right because I'm a perfectionist...which rarely ends well. I'm going back and forth between fb and here. I've had a few drinks since my depression is under control, for now anyway, and it's nice but at this hour most people are sleeping. So I'm just enjoying listening to music and doing this until I'm finally tired.
