Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
Tell us more. Have you sought help with a physician for meds or counseling? Most days I just take it an hour at a time. Sometimes a minute but I always try to make little goals for myself to accomplish. This is especially hard when the days are bad.
I talk to my friends on the phone, at least the ones who understand what I'm going through. And I have my dogs to take care of. These things help me make it through the day.
I'm sorry you're feeling so low. I hope you start feeling better soon!

But at the same time, I know I spent nearly a year hiding out in my house. Trust me, that old self is in there and she wants to get out!
