I can't understand why the smallest little things seem so exhausting? where has all my energy gone too? where is my motivation? I feel like I just want to/ NEED TO lay in bed or on the couch for weeks doing nothing in order to get past what ever this is.

I'm struggling with the same issues. Mental exhaustion can easily cause physical exhaustion. Hopefully once the holidays are over you can get back a little bit of that energy.

whatswrong19, I am sorry you are feeling so poorly. Have you been diagnosed with depression? are you on any meds? If not, you may want to visit your doctor sooner rather than later.

I have periods of time where I run on empty also. I get frustrated when they pop up. But through time I have learned why God made it a point to show us all how to rest on the seventh day....we need it for our body, mind and spirit. We live in a world where it is go go go. We go until we are burnt out and no help to anyone. So it’s healthy to need rest. If this persists and depression is a possibility that is so important you take the time to get help and talk to someone. Praying for you. Merry Christmas -Rachel

Living in the present moment can be difficult as it seems it will never end, but it will. Rest for now and take care of yourself.

I feel the same way. Maybe get checked out by a doctor? Just take care of yourself and rest. Your body is wise. You probably need it. Hugs.

Hey, thanks for all the replies, turns out I had a kidney infection, and now I'm finally starting to feel like myself again.
