remembering if I took my med

Sometimes I take too much cause I can't remember if I took one or not like 30 or 40 minutes later, my life is so busy I take it sorta like I breathing air, and just don't think about it, then boom 30 or 40 minutes later I can't remember if I took it or not and the way I know is I sleep like a rock all night or get fidgety legs cause I took to much and loose sleep and then feel exhausted at work all day the next day.

It might help if you buy one of the plastic pill containers that hold your meds for a week at a time. They can be found at Walgreen's or probably most grocery stores and pharmacies. They have compartments labeled for each day of the week. You can go ahead and put your meds in each little compartment before the beginning of each week and that way you would know if you've taken your meds or not. My husband uses one and so do my parents. Makes things so much easier . :))

A friend of mine was having the same problem and spoke with our local pharmacist.

They put together a vacu-pac for her. It contains a weeks worth of her meds, first broken down daily, and then broken down by the time of day she should take them (breakfast, lunch, dinner, etc.).

Perhaps speak to your local pharmacy to see if they have this available where you are?

a pill container is what i use plus I use and alarm on an old cell phone I set it for the times I need to take my meds and when the alarm goes off I stop and take my meds that way I know I won't forget and I can do a double check if I worry that I didn't take it
