I'm new here, i'm losing all my friends and feeling like everyone hates me. I thought about cutting myself today just to feel something but i couldnt do it i went as far as taking a pair of scissors to my forearm but i stopped. I dont know what's gonna happen next, i'm scared and alone. I have really isolated myself and lost the only real friend i had...
But in the real world, I wouldn't vent. Only the insensitive can get away with it because they can pretend they never did it. If you're sensitive you remember you did it and that warps your relationships. Your mates'll forget the next day. You however don't. And that's the problem.
Glad you didn't go down the cutting route. That's cutting off your nose to spite your face. But what you do have to remember is that your life is 70, 80, 90 yrs long. And you're having a minor blip in a period that contains maybe 2 or 3 of those years. that's what you have to remember. yeah you might feel lonely now. Sure you will. In fact I can pretty much promise it. I certainly went through that, and most of the people I know. But this is a very strong learning phase, is what it is. it's good for learning about what other people are really like. If you didn't have this time of your life being miserable and isolated you would not ever think people were not wonderful and nice. And yet most people are not wonderful and nice. Most people are self-interested.
Most people will be nice to you provided you don't put them out too much; and the ones who don't mind being put out too much are usually mentally unwell and they gain some psychological fix from putting themselves out too much, and eventually blow their stack at you for making them do it... and things go pear shaped there.
So basically try to learn, amongst people, to be kind, approachable, carry yourself entirely and do what you can to avoid carrying them. After that it's a waiting game of letting the shy fawn come to you, as it were, without you chasing it. :D That'll keep you busy getting the hang of it for the next 2 yr 3 years by which time you'll be out of this phase of life. :D
