What kinds of things did you enjoy doing before you got depressed? Did you ever have any hobbies? When I am at my worst at the very least I try to read to distract myself. And Iet my cat.
Pets can be very therapeutic. Do you have a pet?
I too have failed to do any meetups. And as an outdoor person I discovered photography. I got a camera and go out to snap shots of wherever or whatever.
Has to be rough being used to remaining active an being unable to do that. I hope you feel better and find your way soon. Bets wishes.
I arranged a dinner with two friends last night and was practically in tears on the way to pick them up. But by the time I got home, I was relaxed and out of my head for once.
I book my acupuncture appointments for Friday evenings. This takes the pressure off to do something social and it helps me relax before the weekend and be more conscious that I might get anxious with too much time on my hands.
