Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I just had to share with everyone that I have had two random acts of kindness happen to me in the past two days. These may seem small, but they are big to me since the veil of depression is lifting and I can actually start to notice that there is much love and goodness in the world. Yesterday I got a new magazine subscription in the mail from an anonymous person and this morning a total stranger paid for my order at the drive through at McDonalds! Like I said, this may seem small and insignificant in the broader scheme of things, but it helps remind me of all of the greater things that will come in to my life as I continue to heal and recover. So if you're struggling please know that there is so much love and goodness all around you and that in time you will see it and feel it too. Have a great day!
if i started a topic called "random acts of cuntness" about my rent going up and getting fucked on my car insurance, i doubt anyone would jump in and credit their imaginary friend for ithose events.
with that said, i hope you have a thoroughly satisfying read of an excellent magazine whilst devouring some free food :D
Ken is painting the mobile home right behind us. The man liked it so much he gave us an old big screen tv and then went out and bought a brand new one for us too. He called it lan yapp for the job Ken is doing.
This man has done so MUCH for us in the past few months. As some of you know, our truck is tore up, we have no money for a new one and can't seem to get the other fixed. Randal is always ready to lend a hand, take us to the store, drive me to the bus station when I go see the kids. He is just wonderful. Do I think it is God? Yes, I think God is working through this wonderful man.
And to think, we did not even know him before all this happened.

I can't think when someone did something for me that I didn't have to buy, beg or steal.
