Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

These might be med side effects, some sort of gluten intolerance or maybe the side effect of formerly severe trauma. I have heard that seratonin can affect the system that works with digestion and bowel movements.
Beyond the "gross" lies a serious problem that needs addressing.
The Depression board appears to me to be quite awesome and I believe that we are here to support you.

Believe me, NOBODY hates going to the doctor more than me, but sometimes you just have to suck it up and do it. As mollgirl says, there are free and low-cost clinics that you could go to. I have found that those places usually are much more kind, friendly and respectful; you're treated with more care than at the big, expensive doctor's offices. Just go in and tell them what's going on; if you feel too uncomfortable you can always leave. But please at least give it a shot.
OK, no more nagging! ;) I do hope you feel better, and that your depression lifts. It sucks to be depressed, that's for sure.
