Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.

Hundreds of years of male patriarchal ownership of our bodies makes us feel they still own them. But they don't. You own your body. This is your body, do whatever the heck you want with it and don't apologise to anyone! Life is a game: play it and don't be ashamed to lose or win.
Things can seem unbearable as a teenager. I know my life felt that way. But I can promise it ends. Things that really upset you as a teenager, like parents splitting up, seem normal in a few months. You are going to feel off-kilter for a while. Don't feed bad habits though. Cry. Try to cry. It helps you adjust and find that new normal quicker. So many people block it but climbing into bed and just plain crying is about the best thing you can do for yourself.
And if you can't do that: i find zombie movies really good. Good violent action movies with no relatinoships, no feelings, just heaps of gore that totally distracts you from your own life. It helps if they're totally fantastical and don't remind you of your own life. :D
