Prayers please, I am scared out of my mind, I am 35 weeks and I am on my way to health park to be induced, my son isnt growing at all. I am scared, I had 5 more weeks to go. All i know is my whole world is about to change, and I have never been so scared in my life.

Aiden was born at 10:07 this morning, he is 4lbs&14oz, and is 17 inches long. He will be in the nicu for about 3-5 weeks. his lungs are undeveloped and right now they are detecting a small bleed on the right side of his brain that should clot up in a week or so. i was in labor for 22 hours and pushed for about 20 min, ive not been able to hold him because he needs help breathing.

I am glad that they had a NICU for him to go into, they do wonders for premature babies these days. It has been my understanding that they tend to keep babies in the NICU until their projected full term birth date. But that is just vague memories from the past. We had a couple of children in our extended family stay in the NICU.
