Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
I feel pretty much as you do about what happens to my remains after I am dead. But right now we are ALIVE and we MATTER.
You are dealing with issues that can often trigger depression. You need to focus on getting enough rest and eating well and continue to reach out for needed support.
Being human is often not easy but together we can improve life and make it worth living.
You are WORTH a GOOD LIFE.
Keep reaching out and be gentle with yourself.

(Unless I manage to cure cancer, balance the federal budget, or invent diet caffeine free soda that tastes as good as its sugared and caffeinated counter part.)
I have gone to funerals for people who I have not seen in years, even decades. I have been thanked by their survivors for showing support. I guess funerals are for the surviving family and friends. So what ever works for my family/friends after I am gone is fine with me.
Except for the cemetery plot thing. I'd love to nourish a grand tree after I'm gone.
But please, you are not 'the quicker gone the better'. None of us are.
