Is there anyone on here that would like to start a regular kind of group chat whether it be through email, WhatsApp or even on Facebook.  I'm finding a lot of the posts on here are people crying out for help. I know some of the regulars don't post much either. I'm looking to start something maybe a little bit more positive. With people who are trying or are really working hard to overcome/ cope with their depression and anxiety. I want it to be where people can go to help each other along and really be positive together.
I find a lot of my pen pals ive met on here are so amazing and thoughtful. Just having someone care enough to check in on you, tell you what's for dinner and what they did during the day really makes my day. Just a thought!

That is what I need. I haven't found a counselor who will really help me. so I don't currently have one. But I feel very lonely and depressed. I've never used whatsapp. I would like to join a group like this. kind of an online support group with a more involved twist

I agree it would be good to have somewhere we can drop by for positive support and conversation. I'm not a Facebook user. How about starting a new community group on here on d.s? Or is that something that's already been tried? I'm fairly new so still navigating my way around.

I have a few forums that might help. They are Christian oriented.

Champions of Christ Church.
A internet oriented Church where I give positive and uplifting scripture, devotionals, and things of that nature.

I also host AAA Christian Encouragement.
This group...well, you don't have to be a Christian. I post positive scripture, uplifting devotionals, and encouraging things.

Everyone is invited to check them out and join if you are interested.
