Depression Support Group
Depression is a real and debilitating condition that is often misunderstood by family and friends. Its meaning can range from a prolonged period of sadness to an actual mental illness with specific symptoms. Find and share experiences with others who are going through the same struggles.
what chrisroree is so true.
one thing to keep in mind is life is a precious gift and you never know whats around the corner, meaning we don't know what the future has in store for us.
You didn't survive just to go backwards, there's a real reason, you may very well not know it now, but there is, that you didn't succeed.
it wasn't that long ago, you got sound advice and encouragement from so many here...if no one cared, that would not have happened, no one would have even responded to your message.
Once again you are being given constructive ideas that a young, strong man like yourself could work on. the bottom line is how much effort are you willing to put into it??? Nothing is going to be handed to you.....life is work, and anything worth having is worth working for!!!
The joy in working for it is the sense of accomplishment when you've done it.
Don't focus on the morons, focus on you and what you can do for yourself that no one else can do for you. That will make it a much more valuable gift to yourself.
As hard as you may find it to believe, you are here for a reason, what that is may not be known right now but it will be shown to you when you least expect it so long as you allow yourself to be open to receive.
Sure, there will be painful times....life is like a bed of roses, but I've never seen roses that didn't have thorns.
I could feed you a ton of cliches but I'm not going to talk down to you like that.
ok, I'm trusting you here......
Right this minute....freeze your body....I mean it...freeze, RIGHT NOW.... ....
Now...where is your chin, don't you dare move, is it aimed at your chest....don't move...
how about those shoulders?? slouched down??? I bet both are the case. Ok, you can move BUT...
pick up that chin...throw those shoulders back, feel confident in yourself...your body language is what others see first and if you're walking around hunched over with your chin dragging on the ground you aren't going to project a pleasant person.
C'mon young man, pick your feet up one at a time and hold your head high...let the world see your light!!!
The guys that (appear to) have the women, money, power now may not (& probably won't) have that in the future. There are those that have those things and STILL aren't happy. I don't think you'd want nor would you want to handle, a woman that wants you for your money and/or power - so be careful what you wish for! You, ultimately, control your own destiny - whatever that may be.. Take your time, find your passion, live your life..
I am 63. If you want a friend, hear I am.
