My daughters birthday is 16th February and she has been thinking about what she wants for her party as ive told her this will be her last one as she will be 12.
Last night she decided she would have an hollywood oscars party and im like OMFG.
I spent hours on ebay and managed to get a red carpet, oscars, tableware, invites etc but i need your ideas (if you have any) on food, games and well anything really to make the party great for her and her other hormonal friends, lol. Anything you have would be greatly appreciated. Thanks guys.x

could you have it on oscar night? then you could do a quiz on the big awards and stuff. if not...then movie trivia....gift bags with small bottles of shampoo and stuff, things like that. for food....little finger foods like sandwiches, spring rolls, cheese sticks, small fancy looking cookies. do a punch or something too.

How about coming up with a few contests and letting the kids fill out nominee ballots. For instance..best hair..best dressed... Let them fill in the nominee ballots and then count the overall vots at the end. Depending on the number of kids..also throw in most funny, helpful and things of the such. At the end let your daughter know the winners of the categories and let her announce them by those famous words...and the winner is... eeh e ireforfo

Bmoney and pixie thanks guys there are some amazing ideas there. Knew you guys wouldnt let me down. Im actually really looking forward to it now i have some ideas to run with. I just need some adult papparatzi (sorry cant spell that) I thought several parents or friends with cameras would be a nice touch. Thanks again.

How about having the girls dress up like celebs getting costumes and costume jewelry and such, could do wigs and the whole nine, get them all dolled up
Have them do each others nails and hair as an activity then have oscar night. Give awards for best hair best dress best jewels...
just a thought!

Awe Laynie thanks hun. The wigs thing sounds awesome, i just hope that i can find adult bodies that are willing to help with the occasion. Its something a bit different so im hoping the parents will stay on and assist(fingers crossed)x

You can be the Master of Ceremonies and hand out "Award" with fake statues for all the guests like Best Actress, etc. Everyone likes to win something but I would make sure they all get some type of award. Sounds like a blast!!

How about providing some disposable cameras for the kids to use at the party?
