I think the fact that you have analyzed this option that many of us hadn't....shows that you are very smart. We need smart people like you to stick around...they are the ones who invent and discover and often make life better for lots of people for years to come long after they do meet their natural end. So I would implore you to stay....I would be honored to have you as a new person on my friend list. Please think about it.

This assumes you have the means to do this. You would be what most who do this kind of thing would think of as a high risk. They would want all the money up front and then would probably let you live as a sick lesson to you that you can't play in their part of the world. You also run the risk of finding a person desperate enough to accept the money and not callous enough to go through with it. There are a lot variables with this that would always be out of your control. I've actually been unwell enough to give this some thought. Of course I didn't have the means to pay up front. That always stopped me. The only way that would ever work is the person ready to do it immediately after payment is rendered. Finding a real person willing to carry out your wishes is a real gamble. You'd be just a likely to be a victim of some desperate criminal that would simply beat you senseless and leave you permanently damaged but still very much alive. Here's an idea that I would entertain as it has humanitarian motives. I would take all the money I would have paid to a criminnal and instead offer it to a group in need of funds to keep a study going that is working on a new treatment for depression. Hell I would offer myself as a test subject. Of course I would probably invalidate their data so they would just want the money. But at least in this way I wouldn't be supporting some criminal or someone's drug habit. Please consider just consider going to a hospital or treatment facility that you could afford. Print this post and let them read it. When they get convinced that you're serious being admitted would be a good possibility. Intensive care would more likely than not get you through whatever crisis you would be going through. Okay I've covered the possibility that you're serious.

Just remember that it will get better. Maybe not right away but it will. Last time I tried to do myself in, I found out I was gonna be a grandma and it has brought me more joy then I could have ever imagined.. Sure I still suffer a lot with depression b/p but I have something to look forward to..
