As some of my friends on here might know, I;m running for election for my uni's students' union. Anyways.. it's a difficult enough fight since I don't have a large group of friends on campus to vote for me, I don't have a campaign team besides just myself, and I've just broken my arm making it even more difficult... but now, I got to campus this morning to find that almost every last one of my campaign posters has been ripped down over the weekend, and a couple of them were moved to areas that we are not allowed to poster in and could have led to my disqualification if one ofthe returning officers had seen them before I did. I am so fucking mad!! I'm trying to run an honest fucking campaign and this is what happens?

I agree that it means they seriously think you're strong competition. Just keep up an honest campaign, you'll be able to hold your head high regardless.
I know it's hard. I've dealt with people like this all my life. People that just think they can do whatever they want, and DO whatever they want. I had the same thing happen to me, the guy who's my only competition (private business) tore down my fliers. It's very aggravating. But there wasn't much I could do aboout it. No one to complain to, but you have that option. Use it!!!!!!!!
I went into this not expecting to win because, unlike the other candidates, I don't have a sizeable social group backing me. All I have behind me is my integrity. I can only hope that's enough. If it's not, it's not - such is life. There are plenty of other ways I can get involved.
