I know this should go in the anxiety forum, but this one goes a lot faster. Does anyone know how to stop a panic attack? I am getting them several times a day.

Try breathing into a paper bag, but ultimately you need to find out why youre having them to try and stop them :)

I wish I knew. I too used to get them several times a day, it is now several times a week. I find that if you concentrate on breathing properly (from the abdomen not the chest) and, in my case, I use ice or a cold cloth. If they become really severe Ativan does help, but is very addictive, so I try not to use it. Just keep telling yourself you will not die from them - even though it usually feels like you will. Good luck

Im ready to start...
