Overstayed Welcome

I think I've overstayed my welcome in this world. I have no friends and been unemployed over 7 years. I doubt I'll ever find a job. I still live at home, so that means I'll be homeless in a few years. I've come to the conclusion that nothing I've done do or will ever do doesn't matter. I'm like an ant. Kill one and there will still be more. It's doesn't matter. The world moves on. If I did matter in some way, I probably made it worse. I go to sleep hoping I don't wake up and wake up disappointed I'm still here. It would have been better for the world and me if I had died as a baby. That way I'd be out of the way of everyone else and people would talk about what a great person I would have been had I lived, instead of the complete failure that I am.

I just want it to end... I want to go Home.

Just dont give up on yourself. BELIEVE in yourself, and KNOW that you can make a difference.

I know just how you feel! But I have learned a valuable lesson from my friend Lucy. I have only known her for 2 years but a few years before that she tried to leave this earth. She didn't succeed and instead had to learn to walk, talk, everything all over again. She figured that there must have been a reason that she is still here and since then she has gone around her neighborhood, to her friends and strangers and helped them as much as she can. She is on disability pay which isn't much, she isn't in the greatest of shape and she struggles with her elderly parents but everyone thinks highly of her. She would give you the shirt off her back and then turn around and give you her pants! LOL! When I think of others and try to do a random act of kindness it helps me immensely. Life isn't easy, that's why we all need to help each other. Please don't give up.

I know exactly how you feel. I am homeless, living in my car and have no one on this earth who cares about me. The people on DS say they care about me but I have no one in my real life. I am glad you have a place to live and people who have supported you for the last seven years. You are very lucky to have a place to call home. I wish I had never existed instead of having all these horrific memories of a life that has been pure misery. I want it to end too.Sorry you feel like a failure. I have never had anything to compare myself to so I don't feel like a failure, I just wish I'd never been born. I hope you start to feel better soon.

You care....you just can't see it right now. You care enough to reach out on here, I know what it's like to feel invisible. I was where you are once, I came through it but I had to get help. You're never truly alone, there's always someone who will listen...especially here.

I know I was no help but I just wanted to say you're not completely alone, I hope things turn around for you really soon.
