People know I love animals, and every now and then someone brings me a stray or injured animal. Today at work, a member brought me a rabbit that was hit by a car right out front. I am off to a rehab center in a nearby town. I hope it makes it. I see no external injuries, so i am guessing they are internal, because the little thing is only able to twitch its nose. Times like this I feel....necessary.

I invited Bill to have dinner with me last Sunday. He wasn't willing to drive 7 hours to mid Michigan and teased me with his beautiful ribs!!! So, of course I ate alone and had cedar salmon

check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....
Sometimes it's not kind to be kind. Sometimes being kind is very cruel. And sometimes being cruel is being kind.
It appears one of it's legs was injured..and that is all that was found on the intake exam.
It is seeing a vet today.
While I was there. I visited some birds that were rehabbing. Golden Eagles, a falcon , turkey vultures, and a bald eagle sitting on an egg
There is a zoo in the local mountains where they have animals that can not be released into the wild. Some have injuries that prevent them from surviving, others had contact with humans too young and have lost their fear of people. It is fun to see these animals!
